Spring is in the Air

Yippee, Spring is here! Here's a peacock butterfly licking the nectar from the bosses pansies and some daffodils next to our camping pitch.

Phil Passes out the Army

My little 'tall' brother Phil passed out the army, so we travelled down to Pirbright to see him after all his hard work. A really proud day and good to catch up with family if only really brief!

Here he is marching on the left after collecting his prize for best shooting. Mum and us kids on the right. Phil's now in Logistics in Germany.

Snowdrops

Had an experiment photographing snowdrops blind from below....

I Love Lichen

Yep, I know it's geeky but I do love Lichen! It can be an indicator of clean fresh air and we're lucky enough to be surrounded by it ;-)

Pine Marten

At long last, we've seen a Pine Marten. Managed to stay in one of the cabins where folk see them most, but not until the second night at 1:15am! He stayed for a while licking off the peanut butter, but hard to get a good shot through the glass.

Ochil Hills

Brilliant month for snow :-). Thought we'd go to some different hills, avalanche risk was high though so didn't go too far!
